Editorial rules
1. Categories get conceded by name
When another app is better at something, the ranking says which app and what it is better at. Our top pick does not win every category, and the awards say so.
2. Every app gets watch-outs
Including the apps we rank first. Every app, whoever makes it, gets the same rubric, the same receipts and the same watch-outs.
3. Prices are dated
Prices change. Every price is written as true at this review, and the review date is on the page.
4. No invented facts
Every claim about an app comes from a receipt: source text copied word for word, with the link and the day we read it. No receipt, no claim.
